translation: traveling again...
Hi Friends,
Another long pause between posts as life's winding path has brought me back to Illinois. I served a fantastic church in Champaign, IL for the past two years as Outreach Development Fellow. The experiences there and relationships made were and are a blessing beyond words.
But as has happened over these post-undergraduate years, my heart returns me to my first, truest passion: singing. This fall I have seized the opportunity to "take time out" and travel to Germany for a 3 month audition tour. I leave September 16th! My first singing engagement is at a church, the Sunday after I arrive. I will be living with dear, generous friends and then return to the States before Christmas.
I plan to use this blog to keep everyone posted on life and the pursuit of work while I'm there. If you'd like to stay in touch, I'm on Skype AND I encourage you to download WhatsApp so we can text :)
Oh! And if you're in the area, I'm singing a concert before I leave...
